Word Tiles is a classic crossword board game for two players. Each player draws seven letter tiles from a 100-tile bag. Take turns building words on the 15x15 board: the first word must cross the center star, and every word after that must connect to tiles already on the board, crossword style. Every new word you form — including short cross-words — is checked against a large crossword lexicon; if a word isn't in it, you can still agree to play it as a house rule. Tap a tile on your rack, then tap a square to place it; tap a placed tile to take it back. On a keyboard, type a letter to pick it up from your rack, press Backspace to take back your last tile, and press Enter to play. When your word is ready, hit Play — the live score preview shows exactly what the move is worth before you commit.
Scoring works like every great word tile game: each letter has a point value, and premium squares multiply them. Double and triple letter squares boost a single tile, while double and triple word squares multiply the whole word — but multipliers only count on the turn a tile is placed. Use all seven tiles in one turn for a 50-point bonus. Blank tiles can stand for any letter but score zero. You can also swap tiles or pass; the game ends when a player plays their last tile with the bag empty, or after four passes in a row, and leftover tile values are subtracted from each score.
Play pass-and-play with a friend on one device — a privacy curtain hides each rack between turns — or choose Play by Link to play this word tile game online with friends over any messenger. Your whole game travels inside the link itself: no accounts, no downloads, no server.
