Mahjong Solitaire is a free online tile-matching puzzle. Seventy-two tiles are stacked in a temple-style layout. Each tile shows a suit face — bamboo, circles, characters, winds, dragons, or seasons. Tap a free tile, then tap its identical twin to remove the pair. A tile is free only when nothing sits on top of it and at least one side (left or right) is open. Clear every pair to win, and chase a high score based on how quickly you finish.
Stuck? Use Hint to highlight one legal match (three per game), Undo to put the last pair back, or Shuffle to reshuffle the faces on the remaining tiles when no moves are left. Work from the edges and upper layers inward — freeing a blocked tile often opens a chain of matches. Your best score is saved in the browser so you can come back and beat it.
