How to play Word Guess

Word Guess is a free Wordle-style word puzzle game you can play online as many times as you like — no daily limit. You have six guesses to find a hidden five-letter word. Type any valid five-letter English word and press Enter. After each guess the tiles change color to give you clues: a green tile means the letter is correct and in the right spot, a yellow tile means the letter is in the word but in a different position, and a gray tile means the letter is not in the word at all. The on-screen keyboard tracks these clues too, so you can see at a glance which letters are still worth trying. Strategy tips: open with a word packed with common vowels and consonants, like RAISE, AUDIO, or STARE, to reveal as much information as possible. Use your second guess to test fresh letters instead of repeating grays. Watch for duplicate letters — a word like APPLE can hide two of the same letter, and the colors account for how many times a letter actually appears.
