Tile Connect is a free online pair-matching puzzle in the classic connect-two style. The board is an 8x10 grid of emoji tiles, and every tile has matching twins hidden somewhere on the board. Tap or click two identical tiles to remove them — but only if an unbroken path of empty space can join them using at most two turns. The path may also travel through the open border around the outside of the grid, so edge tiles are often the easiest to clear first. When a match is valid, the connecting line flashes across the board before the pair disappears.
Clear every tile to finish the level and bank a time bonus, then move on to the next board. From level two onward the remaining tiles shift after every match — collapsing downward on even levels and sliding left on odd ones — so each removal reshapes the puzzle and forces you to re-plan. Stuck? Press the Hint button (three per level) to highlight a guaranteed pair, and if no legal match exists the board reshuffles itself automatically. On desktop you can also play with the keyboard: move the cursor with the arrow keys and select with Enter or Space.
