Tower of Hanoi is the classic peg-and-disk puzzle: a stack of different-sized disks starts on the left post, and you have to rebuild that same pyramid on the right post. Tap a peg to lift its top disk, then tap another peg to set it down — only one disk moves at a time, and a larger disk may never sit on a smaller one. With three disks the shortest path is seven moves; each extra disk doubles the work plus one, so eight disks take at least 255 perfect moves. Your move count is scored against that goal, Undo takes back a drop, and Restart returns the same tower. It plays in the browser on phones and desktops, with no download.
Classic mode lets you jump a disk to any legal peg. Switch to Can't skip posts and disks may only travel to a neighboring post — you cannot hop the middle one — which is the well-known adjacent-peg variant (3ⁿ − 1 moves for n disks). Keep the middle post as a shuttle, and don't bury a large disk until the smaller ones have a place to stand. Progress, including the board you were in the middle of, is saved in this browser so a refresh does not wipe the tower.
