Spider Solitaire is a classic patience game you can play free online — no download and no signup. Build descending same-suit runs from King down to Ace across ten tableau columns, then clear each completed run to the foundations. This Arcadely version defaults to the friendly 1-suit mode (all spades), with an optional 2-suit mode that mixes hearts and spades for a tougher puzzle. Fifty-four cards deal into the columns at the start; the rest sit in the stock as five deal-rows of ten. Tap or drag a face-up card — or a contiguous same-suit descending sequence — onto the next-lower rank; empty columns accept any card or run. Suit does not have to match the card you land on, but only same-suit sequences move as a group, so mixed stacks leave you stuck with single cards.
When a full King-to-Ace same-suit run appears, it leaves the tableau automatically. Click the stock to deal one face-up card onto every column, but only when no column is empty — classic Spider rules keep empty columns precious. Clear all eight runs to win. Score rises as you finish suits and finish faster with fewer moves; your best score is saved in the browser. Use Undo freely to explore lines, switch between 1-suit and 2-suit anytime with a fresh deal, and play on phone or desktop with tap-to-select or drag-and-drop.
