How to play Sky Hop

Sky Hop is a free online vertical jumping game in the style of Doodle Jump. Your hopper bounces automatically — your only job is to steer. Use the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) on desktop, or press and hold the left or right half of the screen on mobile, to guide each bounce onto the next platform. Fly off one side of the screen and you wrap around to the other, a trick that often saves a run. The camera only follows you upward: your score is the greatest height you reach, and if you fall below the bottom of the screen the run is over.

Learn the three platform types. Teal platforms are solid and safe. Purple platforms slide side to side, so time your landing or lead your steering. Amber platforms are breakable — they crumble after a single bounce, so treat them as one-time stepping stones and never plan a return trip. The higher you climb, the wider the gaps between platforms become, and the more movers and crumblers appear. Strategy tips: keep small, controlled steering inputs rather than holding a direction; aim for the center of platforms; and use the screen wrap deliberately when the nearest platform is across the far edge. Every run ends with a fall — make yours count with a new high score.
